As per the research by the European Energy Agency, the carbon emissions of an electric vehicle are around 17-30% lower than driving a petrol or diesel vehicle. When low carbon electricity is used, the emissions from electricity generation improve. So, electric vehicles are a more suitable option as they are non-polluting and reliable in terms of linear performance.
